Deployment Scenarios

Nola supports a number of different deployment scenarios suited to different environments. Below is a brief overview.

Nola Edge​

Process your camera feeds at your venue. No video data leaves your network (unless you wish to preview your cameras on dashboards).

  • On your network:
    • Your IP video cameras.
    • Internet connection (for sending anonymised metrics only, low bandwidth, no network speed requirement, tolerant to internet connectivity disruptions).
    • Nola AI Edge Server(s), to be located in your server room or office.
      • The device receives video frames from your cameras, generates anonymised metrics, which are then sent on to Nola cloud for storage.
      • All video processing is done locally and does not leave your network.

Nola Enterprise​

Everything inside your corporate network. No internet access required.

This option is for very large organisations that have multiple venues and are not allowed to store any data outside of organisation. Talk to Nola team about your options.

Nola Small Business​

Video data is forwarded to and processed in Nola's infrastructure (without being stored).

This option is for small organisations that have several (2-5) CCTV cameras only. Talk to Nola team about your options.
